A police department in Texas is investigating a series of thefts involving semi-trailers loaded with various types of building materials.

The thefts occurred July 29, Sept. 16, and Sept. 30. All of the semi-trailers were parked at different locations in Marshall, Texas. Each time, the trailer was recovered in the Dallas area without its cargo.

Police said footage of the suspect from the Sept. 30 theft was captured on the truck’s interior camera system before he stole both the tractor and trailer. The tractor was later found abandoned in Marshall, and the empty trailer was located in Dallas.

Surveillance video also captured footage of the tractors used to move the trailers during the July 29 and Sept. 16 thefts.

The Marshall Police Department asks anyone with information regarding these incidents to call 903-935-4575. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 903-935-9969, or they can submit an anonymous tip through the Marshall/Harrison County Crime Stoppers Facebook page.
