Holly Wright works at a facility that provides a temporary home for family members of veterans while those vets are receiving medical treatment. And she says some simple things can make life for those folks a whole lot better. Mark Reddig has the story.
- We’re soliciting hand-made cards and letters from kids, as well as personal thank-you letters to the troops from truckers and others. Last year, Truckers for Troops sent an interesting list of items – to say the least – to the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, including Barbie Dolls and nerf guns. However, those items provide a vital service to the men and women at the center that might surprise you. Mary McKenna reports.
