Ryan Witkowski

Staff Writer

Ryan Witkowski joins Land Line after nearly a decade of working in sports radio. A utility player, he brings reporting, writing, and radio skills to the team.

A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Witkowski brings a passion for storytelling to Land Line.

“I’ve spent the past nine years covering the teams I grew up rooting for. Getting to tell their stories – from World Series wins to Super Bowl parades – has been amazing,” Witkowski said. “I look forward to working just as hard telling the stories of truckers and reporting on the things that impact them at home and on the road.”

Witkowski worked for 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City for nine years, where he produced “The Day Shift” and most recently “Fescoe in the Morning.” In that time, he covered the Royals’ World Series win 2015 as well as the 2019 Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory. He also won multiple awards for his work broadcasting University of Missouri-Kansas City men’s and women’s basketball games.
