II. OOIDA tells Senate how to fix trucking
What works in trucking? What contributes to success and safety, and what doesn’t? OOIDA’s Lewie Pugh offered members of the U.S. Senate an earful – including urging them to listen to the people who actually drive the trucks – during a hearing earlier this week.
III. The freight and rate slump continues
The January slump in freight and rates is spilling over into February. Also, fuel prices continue to drop as concerns over the coronavirus drag down the price of oil.
IV. How do we fix trucking’s problems? OOIDA has answers
Now that the U.S. Senate has heard about the problems in trucking, what’s next? How do we get our elected representatives to act in a way that will improve trucking? OOIDA has advice, and we’ll discuss the path forward.
