- OOIDA has issued a Call to Action: HOS Comment Period Officially Open, Listening Sessions Announced. The comment period is now open for the FMCSA’s proposed changes to the hours of service regulations. Comments are due by Oct. 7. And the FMCSA will conduct a two-hour listening session on proposed changes to the hours of service from 10 a.m. to noon Friday in room C146 in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center during the Great American Trucking Show.
