- The FMCSA has announced a pair of listening sessions on proposed changes to the hours of service rules. The first will take place Aug. 23 at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas. A second will take place in September in Washington, D.C. Information is expected to publish in the Federal Register next week.

- Police in Berlin, Conn., got an assist from some helpful neighborhood kids who provided their own drawings of a suspect who fled into the woods after a motorcycle crash. You can see the drawings here.
