Daimler Trucks of North America is recalling certain 2012 to 2015 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star trucks. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says with certain front axle, brake lining, and brake spider combinations, braking may cause high vibrations resulting in early failure of the tie-rod tube. The recall will start September 24th. Daimler will notify owners and dealers will make the necessary replacements free of charge. You can contact Daimler Trucks Customer Service at 800-547-0712. Their recall number is FL782.
