TRACER reports thefts in Maryland, Florida

TRACER Alerts have been issued for tractor reported stolen in Maryland and the theft of a trailer reported stolen in Florida.

A TRACER Alert has been issued for a white 2013 Freightliner Cascadia 125 reported stolen in Rosedale, Md.

The Freightliner has a New Jersey license plate. Its VIN is 1FUJGLDR7DLFG2872.

It has “4D trucking LLC” on doors of the cab.

The theft occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 27, from Fontana Lane in Rosedale in the east Baltimore metropolitan area.

A TRACER Alert has been issued for a 2005 Great Dane van trailer reported stolen in Miami.

The trailer is white with gold strips. It has “#53109 on sides.” The trailer was loaded with a variety of shoes from different vendors.

The theft occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 28, from 3700 NW 62nd St. in Miami.

A $500 reward is offered for information leading to the recovery of the stolen truck and trailer. Call 202-246-2698.

TRACER, the Transportation Alert Communication and Emergency Response program, was launched in 2009 by OOIDA. The program is a two-way communication system that sends alerts to members and coordinates information received from trucking members.
