Rolling contraband: Agents bust tractor-trailer in Tennessee
Drugs. Guns. Money.
That’s what the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation seized from a tractor-trailer on July 3 in Dickson County, Tenn.
Working with the 23rd Judicial District Drug Task Force and multiple federal and local agencies, the TBI said it identified a tractor-trailer that was carrying cocaine from Texas to Nashville, Tenn.
After executing a search warrant, agents seized 68 kilograms of cocaine, 36 firearms, three sets of body armor, one kilogram press and U.S. currency. The TBI didn’t estimate the value of items seized.
The raid also led to three arrests:
- Perry White, 44, Nashville; one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine (over 300 grams)
- Jesus Garza, 45, Donna, Texas; one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine (over 300 grams)
