    II. Broker transparency: Todd Spencer’s comments

    A proposal now on the table would simply ensure longstanding broker transparency regulations are enforced. That’s what OOIDA President Todd Spencer told an FMCSA listening session earlier this week. Also, we’ll tell you more about a Labor Department attempt to clarify who is an employee or contractor.


    III. Court speaks on Washington state fee

    Washington state’s Supreme Court has ruled on a controversial fee there, while Pennsylvania continues toward revising its “steer clear” law.
