    Texas smart port could offer truckers big benefits

    A coalition in Texas is working on a project designed to make a local, intermodal port far more efficient in terms of the movement of freight and the vehicles that carry it. It’s the latest version of a so-called “smart port” – and truckers could benefit greatly. Nick Konen of the development company Hillwood and Michael Morris of the North Central Texas Council of Governments will offer some details.
