Then, years ago, longtime trucking writer Bill Hudgins created some trucking versions of classic Christmas carols. We’ll bring you several today. And OOIDA tour truck driver Marty Ellis says bad signage is behind a trend he’s seen of trucks going down a wrong road after finding a main route blocked.

    You may have heard the news, or even a few rumors, about a recent decision by the Department of Homeland Security to make some 64,000 additional H-2B visas available in the months to come. It’s sparked conversations – and some angst – about foreign workers, truck driving jobs and more. But the facts are far less controversial than they may appear. Land Line Magazine’s Tyson Fisher explains what’s reality and what’s just plain false.

    Avoid those ill-considered truck detours

    OOIDA tour truck driver Marty Ellis has noticed a trend or sorts – trucks that find a main route blocked for one reason or another, then take an ill-advised detour. He says, however, that it’s worse than it has to be due to a lack of signage.
