    Segment 1

More than 400 drivers of John Christner Trucking are joining with others in a class action lawsuit, claiming they are misclassified as independent contractors when actually they are employees, and are due minimum wages and company benefits. A website to provide information about the case and permit individuals to electronically join the lawsuit has been set up.

    Segment 2

Recently, the OOIDA Foundation surveyed members about electronic logging devices in order to assess the effect of ELDs on truckers. Mark Reddig discusses the results with Andrew King of the OOIDA Foundation.

    Segment 3

Most truckers probably have a notebook they keep detailing the information on places they visit on a regular basis. Now, thanks to the help of OOIDA member Candy Bass, one company is taking that little black book high tech. Terry Scruton talks about that plus a new regular feature on parking with Greg Grisolano and Mark Schremmer of Land Line Magazine.

    Segment 4

The EPA has reversed a recent decision on glider kits after a lawsuit by environmental activists and state officials was filed. So what’s next? Mark Reddig talks with Nile Elam of OOIDA’s Washington, D.C., office.
