The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a $1.4 trillion dollar funding bill to keep the doors open for the federal government a little bit longer. The current funding expires Dec.20. And tolling and use fees looked at in the Pacific Northwest. It’s all in our newscast today.
II. Cross-border trucking under a new agreement
The U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement – the replacement for NAFTA – addresses concerns raised by OOIDA over cross-border trucking with Mexico.

Freight volume remains strong and is expected to stay strong through Christmas. Plus, what’s ahead for our energy concerns in 2020.
IV. Lawmaker wants to know what happens with coercion complaints
Texas Republican Brian Babin plans to question FMCSA on how it handles truckers’ complaints that are filed with the National Consumer Complaint Database, the online spot where truckers file coercion complaints.
