Can a meter detect driver fatigue?

- An online petition calling for the Canadian government to take over regulations for the licensing and training of truck drivers was launched this week. The tragic accident last April involving the Humboldt Broncos hockey team led to the petition effort. The online petition is open for signatures until May 14.
- An organization called the Alliance for Toll-Free Interstates is warning Virginia governor Ralph Northam against tolling Interstate 81 as a way to pay for improvements. The group contends thinks the plan is likely unconstitutional. The Alliance has a petition campaign at keeptollsoff81.com.
