A CVSA official asks, if your truck is in good shape and you are in line with the regs, why worry about Roadcheck? Also, the freight market is beginning to heat up. Meanwhile, Laredo, Texas, is now the Number 1 trade hub in the United States. The price of diesel shows declines two weeks running. And a House subcommittee takes a look at the state of trucking.

  • You can write and post a review of the doctor who performed your DOT physical or read other reviews through the online service O.T. Doc.
  • You can use paper logs for up to eight days while you’re having issues with your ELD. After that, you need to request an extension. To do that, email ELD-Extension@dot.gov.

  • From 6 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday, the Colorado DOT will detour all traffic off I-25 to demolish the Vine Drive Bridge.
  • Northbound I-25 Detour
    • All through traffic will be directed off the highway at exit 269A Mulberry Street (Colorado Highway 14).
    • Turn east (right) on Mulberry Street.
    • Turn north (left) on the east frontage road.
    • Continue north (straight) across Vine Drive (county Road 48).
    • Stay on east frontage road.
    • Turn west (left) on Mountain Vista Drive (county Road 50).
    • Turn north (right) onto northbound I-25.
  • Southbound I-25 Detour
    • All traffic will be directed off the highway at exit 271 (Mountain Vista Drive / CR 50).
    • Turn east (left) on Mountain Vista Drive (county Road 50).
    • Turn south (right) on the east frontage road.
    • Then turn west (right) on Mulberry Street (state Route 14.)
    • Enter southbound I-25.
