A truck driver is dead following an alleged road rage incident Friday, November 30, in Nashville, Tenn. WSMV reports the shooter, 28-year-old Eric Nichols, is claiming self-defense in the shooting death of 53-year old trucker Christopher Jankowski. No charges have been filed but police say the case remains under investigation. Drivers who were in the area of I-65 South near Harding Place in Nashville at that time are asked to call the Midtown Hills Precinct at 615-880- 1511 if they saw anything of interest Friday about 5 p.m. that might help with the investigation.

Ever have a friend call you up needing a ride somewhere? What if that ride was 600 miles away? That’s just what happened to OOIDA member Riley Miller and he was only too happy to oblige. Senior Correspondent Terry Scruton has the story of a veteran who checked an item off his bucket list.
