Segment 1

A truck driver is dead following an alleged road rage incident Friday, November 30, in Nashville, Tenn. WSMV reports the shooter, 28-year-old Eric Nichols, is claiming self-defense in the shooting death of 53-year old trucker Christopher Jankowski. No charges have been filed but police say the case remains under investigation. Drivers who were in the area of I-65 South near Harding Place in Nashville at that time are asked to call the Midtown Hills Precinct at 615-880- 1511 if they saw anything of interest Friday about 5 p.m. that might help with the investigation.
