But how many of those truckers can say they were also on the other side of the badge with a state highway patrol? Well, OOIDA member Mike Broaddus can. Terry Scruton talks to him about what he thinks needs to change when it comes to HOS.

Hauling oversized and overweight freight comes with its own special set of challenges – not the least of which is getting it insured. We’ll talk about that with Trina McIntyre and Stacey Sanders on today’s Insurance Interchange.

Exemptions from California’s meal and rest break provisions may be dead from a legislative point of view, but that’s not stopping the American Trucking Association from filing for its own exemption. We’ll find out what OOIDA will have to say about that from OOIDA Manager of Government Affairs Mike Matousek.
