LLN (7/20/18) –  OOIDA has a new president. And he is a trucker who sold his rig and went to work representing others in his profession. But how did he get into it in the first place? We’ll find out. Daimler Trucks North America is recalling more than 18,000 Freightliner Cascadia model year 2018-2019 tractors because of a brake issue. Daimler says it will begin notifying owners on Aug. 13, and dealers will inspect the brake caliper mounting bolts and tighten if necessary for free.
