One bill nearing approval at the California statehouse is intended to end the “rampant exploitation” of truck drivers who haul cargo from the state’s ports. Also in California, a piece of legislation that continues to advance at the California statehouse is intended to improve safety on the state’s roadways by implementing new federal commercial driver training regulations.
