Garmin experiences a major outage that could affect ELDs; California might be looking at truck-only tolls in the future; and a literal cat burglar strikes in Russia.


II. In-person truck show going ahead as scheduled

Truck show after truck show has canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, but that changes this weekend. The TopGun Largecar Shootout is moving ahead as planned in Illinois. We find out what precautions will be in place. We also talk to the founder of a charity that helps truckers when they need it most. How they’re coping with a massive drop in donations brought on by the cancellation of so many shows – their main source of revenue.


III. Truck traffic down in Chicago

There are fewer trucks on the road in Chicago due to slow freight and low rates. We get some veteran advice for tough times.


IV. Another round of stimulus

Congress is kicking around the idea of another stimulus package. What that could mean for truckers and the Highway Trust Fund.
