Segment 1

Bryan Peters of Bellbrook, Ohio, has been recognized by the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association for 32 years of safe, accident-free driving as part of the OOIDA Safe Driving Award Program.

Segment 2

Hot weather means that your truck – and your health – face very specific stresses and problems. So the well-prepared trucker needs to plan for those problems so they never affect the trucker or their operation. Barry Spillman and Mark Reddig will get some advice on hot weather prep from Bryan Martin of the Chrome Shop Mafia.

Segment 3

Jon Osburn is at the Walcott Truckers Jamboree. But before arriving, he saw some rough roads, parking problems, road construction and more. Mark Reddig talks with the man who drives the Spirit of the American Trucker. See Jon’s full schedule, “The Spirit” Schedule.

Segment 4

Congress is putting more pressure on the EPA regarding a study the agency conducted into glider kits – a study some lawmakers think represented an attempt to skew numbers to make the trucks look worse than they are. Mark Reddig gets an update from Jay Grimes of OOIDA’s Washington, D.C., office.
