I. Today’s news with Terry Scruton

NHTSA wants to expand its automated vehicle program; the FMCSA seeks to relax vision standards for commercial drivers; and California cows cause closures and chaos.

II. OOIDA Board election candidates, Part I

OOIDA members are filling out ballots right now for the Association’s Board of Directors. We begin our series of candidate interviews with Carl Smith. Also, if something goes wrong out on the road, insurance can ease some of the pain – that is, if it’s not excluded in your policy. We’ll go over which events are probably not covered in your policy, which ones you can do something about, and which ones you can’t.

III. OOIDA Board election candidates, Part II

We continue our interviews with candidates for the OOIDA Board of Directors, this time with candidate Craig DeReu. Also, Andy Malion of Brake Safe and Tom Crowley of OOIDA talk brake adjustment.
