– The FMCSA hears from truckers about potential changes in the hours of service at the first of two listening sessions. OOIDA requests clarification on a number of issues and reiterated its request to eliminate the 30-minute rest break. OOIDA Executive Vice President Lewie Pugh recently paid a visit to the headquarters of TA & Petro. Why OOIDA is against an automatic emergency braking systems mandate. Plus, in Illinois, the truck parking problem has hit a new extreme.
