LLN (11/15/18) – The FHWA wants to hear from you. We’ll have details about a their truck parking survey. Also, important transportation issues were on state ballots last week. And the elections also brought in many changes at the federal level. So that means a much different Congress set to go to work in January.

  • If you know a truck driver who put their life on the line to help another now is the time to speak up. Nominations for Goodyear’s Highway Hero award will be accepted through Thursday, Nov. 29. Nominees must live in the United States or Canada, and the incident must have taken place sometime between Nov. 16, 2017, and Nov. 16, 2018. Nominations forms can be found online.

The Federal Highway Administration wants to hear from you on the truck parking situation. Terry Scruton talks about that – plus some new guidance on personal conveyance and an update on UCR fees – with OOIDA Manager of Federal Affairs Jay Grimes.
