EPA may cut truck emissions even more

LLN (11/13/18) – The head of the EPA joins us to discuss a plan that could further reduce allowed emissions from trucks. We’ll have that, plus how state races will affect trucking going forward. And what the OOIDA Board of Directors will discuss as they meet this week.

  • OOIDA’s TRACER system has issued an alert on a stolen truck. The white 2003 Kenworth T600 has “Danways Express” written on both sides of the truck. It was last seen on Peachtree Street in Balch Springs, Texas. A $500 reward is offered for information leading to its recovery.

This week, the U.S. EPA announced they will consider further reduction in certain emissions from trucks. Today, Mary McKenna will discuss the announcement with Andrew Wheeler, acting administrator for the agency.
