Which truck show events are you attending in 2025?
Some of the biggest truck show events will be here before you know it.
Arguably the largest of all, the Mid-America Trucking Show, is scheduled for March 27-29 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
Last year, more than 56,000 attended the event featuring nearly 900 exhibitors from 47 states and 15 countries.
“(Last) year’s Mid-America Trucking Show elevated our commitment to education and events, building upon past successes to deliver invaluable insights, opportunities and connections for all participants,” said Toby Young, president of MATS.
New at MATS in 2025 will be a change to the exhibit hall layout with the goal of providing more exhibit space as well as a more connected experience for attendees and exhibitors, event officials said in a news release.
MATS exhibitors previously in the West Wing and Pavilion are being moved to the North Wing and South Wing to enhance flow and connectivity in an aim to reduce attendees’ time spent navigating between events, education series and exhibits.
“We are positioning MATS to take full advantage of the exciting upgrades coming to the Expo Center and look forward to the new heights of success and connectivity we will achieve,” Young said.
Another addition to the 53rd MATS will be a maintenance and repair pavilion.
Among the events returning to MATS are the ProTalks education series, PKY Truck Championship and live entertainment.
More information about MATS 2025 is available on the show’s website.
GBATS
The biennial Guilty By Association Truck Show at 4 State Trucks in Joplin, Mo., returns in September.
Scheduled for Sept. 25-27, GBATS will look to surpass the $120,000-plus raised in 2023 through the its Special Olympics Missouri convoy – the centerpiece of this event.
“This is outside the scope of our wildest dreams,” Bryan “Boss Man” Martin of 4 State Trucks told Land Line after the 2023 event. “The turnout, the enthusiasm, the quantity and caliber of trucks, the money raised for Special Olympics – just everybody’s general desire to be here and mix it up with other truckers was fabulous.”
According to the GBATS website, truck and tractor pulls, a celebrity meet-and-greet, a fireworks show and a free concert at Mercy Park are also on this year’s schedule of events. Food trucks and vendors will be on hand, as well.
