Shell Rotella donates to OOIDA scholarship fund, safe driving award

Shell Rotella presented a pair of checks to OOIDA – $10,000 dollars for the OOIDA Mary Johnston Scholarship Fund and $5,000 for the OOIDA Safe Driving Award.

Dave Waterman, North American marketing manager for Shell Rotella, made the presentation to OOIDA staff and board members. Shell and OOIDA have a longstanding relationship, one Waterman says has always been important to the company.

“(OOIDA) has the ear of drivers and the owner-operators in particular,” Waterman said in an interview with Land Line Now’s Terry Scruton. “And we just need to get out there and let (drivers) know that we appreciate what they do.” LL
