For more than 40 years, the Shell Rotella SuperRigs Truck Beauty Contest has showcased some of the most eye-catching trucks to hit the road.
The 2025 edition promises to be no different.
The 43rd annual Shell Rotella SuperRigs event will take place at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on May 29-31.
Shell said in a news release that its “tribute to the incredible spirit and dedication of truck drivers” will feature some of the finest trucks from the U.S. and Canada.
Family-friendly activities, interactive exhibits and entertainment celebrating the trucking lifestyle are planned.
More than $25,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded across 20 categories, with 12 drivers earning a spot in the 2026 SuperRigs calendar.
The event is open to the public and free of charge.
Land Line Managing Editor Jami Jones and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association’s Doug Morris will again serve as part of SuperRigs’ judging crew.
“There are numerous events and activities being planned that will honor SuperRigs and the hard-working spirit of truckers,” Shell wrote. “Contestants, their families and the community will be able to see some of the best-looking and hardest-working big rigs in North America, all while enjoying some family fun throughout the three-day event.”
2024 show
In 2024, Kaleb Hammett took home best-of-show honors with his 2019 Peterbilt 389, “Hoss,” and the coveted spot on the cover of the 2025 SuperRigs calendar.
The trucker from Dodd City, Texas, collected $10,000 of the $25,000-plus awarded at SuperRigs 2024, held at the Texas Motor Speedway in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
“It’s an honor to be featured in the Shell Rotella calendar, especially now with two of our trucks included,” Hammett said. “Both trucks are dedicated to the memory of my grandfather, who started our company and passed away at the end of 2014.”
Best of Show runner-up JR Schleuger of Britt, Iowa, won $4,000 for his 1984 Kenworth W900B, while $2,000 went to Ernie Adams of New Florence, Pa., and his 1982 Kenworth W900A.
Other winners included Jeff Hoker (Non-Working/Show Truck and People’s Choice), Alex Schleuger (Classic and Best Chrome), Jaden Lindamood (Working Truck – Limited Mileage and Best Engine), Gary Jones (Tractor) and Tarik Al-Amin II (Tractor-Trailer).
The Steve Sturgess Award went to Brandon McInnis of Montalba, Texas, for his 1985 Mack Superliner RW613.
