Want to tell the state and federal government the problems with truck parking in person? Thanks to the truck parking workshops hosted by the Federal Highway Administration, truck drivers will get that opportunity.

In an effort to address the nationwide truck parking shortage, FHWA has set up several workshops that will bring together representatives of the private and public sectors to find solutions. As of press time, three workshops are scheduled.

The first workshop is scheduled for May 23 in Pittsburgh, Pa., at the following location from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

The Regional Learning Alliance
850 Cranberry Woods Drive
Cranberry Township, Pa. 16066

Those interested should RSVP to Sara Walfoort at swalfoort@spcregion.org. Lunch will be provided. This event is being sponsored by the FHWA Resource Center and the ‎Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission. Check out the flier by clicking here.
