Daimler recalls trucks over clutch assembly issue

Daimler Trucks North America has recalled more than 6,100 model year 2021 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700 trucks over a clutch assembly issue. A clutch flange that could break, causing loose parts to fall into the clutch pressure plate assembly. Daimler will replace the clutch free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on May 22.
